Schools with roots
The greater Oregon City community is served by the Oregon City School District (OCSD), a K-12 district of roughly a dozen schools built around Oregon City High School. Its roster includes Candy Lane, Holcomb, John McLoughlin, and Redland elementaries, Gardiner and Tumwata middle schools, and the Clackamas Academy of Industrial Sciences.
School assignment depends on the exact address boundary. Confirm your address directly with the district for the fastest answer.

Quick to the city, quieter at night
Downtown Portland is about 13 miles north via McLoughlin/99E, roughly 25–30 minutes on a normal day. The airport runs about the same, and the whole Willamette Valley opens west along 205.
TriMet #34 runs from Oregon City toward Marquam Hill, and #33 connects with the MAX Orange Line for a transit trip to downtown Portland in under an hour.
On weekends, the falls path, Clackamette Cove, Abner Grove, and the elevator bluff make the whole town a morning walk.

Falls, history, trails, and a vertical street
Oregon City is the terminus of the Oregon Trail, the first incorporated city west of the Rockies, and the only North American town with a public elevator as a street. Layers of history meet a modern riverfront at the falls.

A good place to put a room with a view.
The home sits close enough to town for a coffee run and far enough for its own hillside evening. Come see how the two balance.

The 50th Anniversary Street of Dreams
The Home Builders Association of Greater Portland has staged the Street of Dreams luxury home tour since 1976. In 2026, its 50th year, the tour spanned the metro with a set of custom luxury homes in Oregon City. 14986 Jennetten Way debuts from that tour, built to the show's exacting standard for craftsmanship, light, and design.
